This recipe is great when you want a quick sweet snack but don’t feel like making a whole pan of brownies! And they are super easy to make since you just mix everything up in a coffee mug and then microwave it. When I was traveling or did not have access to stove, I would make these all the time because they are so simple and don’t require a lot of baking supplies. Depending on how long you microwave it, they can be pretty fudgy or more cakey. You can also try adding some peanut butter or chocolate chips to these for a fun variation!
Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp flour
- 4 Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 Tbsp canola oil
- 2 Tbsp soy milk or almond milk
- 1 Tbsp hot tap water
Directions
Mix all of the ingredients together in a microwave safe mug. If you put in the flour first make sure to scrape the bottom of the mug to make sure it’s all mixed in. Once it’s all mixed together, put the mug in the microwave for about 60-90 seconds. Less time if you want it to be fudgy in the center, and more time if you prefer a cakey brownie. Let it cool for a few minutes and then enjoy!
This sounds like a great idea! Very simple 😀
