Sorry for the delay in getting this posted! This past month has been very busy, but now I have lots of new things to blog about after this 🙂
The last day of Sakura-con was very relaxed. I wore my Creamy Mami costume which was really fun. Creamy Mami isn’t a very well-known character but I still got asked for quite a few pictures since people liked my outfit. I hope that I turned some new people on to Creamy Mami after I explained what I was dressed as! There were a couple people who did know the show though and they were very excited to see my cosplay. As I was walking through the Dealer’s room, one of the artists who had a booth stopped me and gave me a fanart of Creamy Mami and Miss Ayumi from Project A-ko (Miss Ayumi is a parody of Creamy Mami). I didn’t get any pictures of myself in the costume though. I did find some online, but I think I was super tired from dancing the whole night before so I look kind of derpy in them.
I didn’t do too much on Sunday aside from walk around. But I managed to catch some cool AMVs in the AMV room right before it closed. It was kind of a free for all since they had extra time after the last thing in the program so the people running played some of their favorite AMVs. Usually my favorite thing to go to at a con is AMV Hell but they didn’t have it this year.. what they showed made up for it though! Here is my favorite one that they played:
After that, the con was pretty much over so we headed over to Uwajimaya/Kinokuniya and Daiso to shop. I got some cute Rilakkuma stuff!
Then we ordered some vegan pizza from Juliano’s and picked it up and took it back to the hotel to hang out for the rest of the night. It was a really fun convention and I was definitely exhausted by the end of it!
